Life of an insomniac...
This always happens to me on the tail end of a virus -- I can't sleep. It's almost 3:30 and I'm finally getting tired enough to go to bed. It sucks because tomorrow is a waste; I know I'll be exhausted and end up sleeping in. <sigh>
I did do something positive with my night up -- I cleaned my pantry! I put all my flours into jars or containers (I have lots of different gluten-free flours and gums and such), I tossed a kitchen garbage bag full of packaging and old food, and a made up the start of our hurricane box of emergency food. It needs filling out, but I can collect that over the next month or two at the cheap grocery stores. I have a start!
And it's not embarrassing to look in my pantry. It looks pretty! I love it!

I get the same way when I've been sick. Laying (lying??) around and not getting *physically* worn out, I have trouble sleeping at the end of an illness.

Thanks mamas. Wish I could post a pic, but my digicam is lost. I am too cheap, and too broke, to buy a new one.
I lost it last December. My daughter was the last one known to have it, so it's possibly just very, very misplaced. LOL! I am going to take a pic with the regular camera though, it will just be a while before I can post it.
