What's this weeks decluttering challenge???

Okay, I'm still working on the kitchen, but I hope to finish tonight (I never did get around to the kids room - I think my brain was malfunctioning when I posted I thought I'd do both this week...). Anyway, I was wondering what's the challenge for this week???

Hummmm... I am up for something big... how about Office or Creativity Area (Sewing Space)

Great job on the kitchen!!!!!

I have been terribly depressed this week and got nothing done, but am pulling out of it, and am really working hard on the kitchen today. Lovnig being motivated! Loving reading everyone elses success... loving feeling compasion and companionship in not being able to do everything and liking being able to admit that with out a whole lot of guilt... you are a cool group of ladies and I enjoy sharing this path with you!

Love Val

Awww, Val, you got me all mushy! I love this group, too -- this is fun! And motivating! And it feels good at the same time, that I'm not the only one who sometimes has an "off week."

I'm up for office or creativity space, whichever y'all choose. I was "supposed" to get the office done this week, culminating in finishing the taxes this weekend. Life had other plans. Oh, well. I was fantasizing about reorganizing the pantry and freezer, maybe even fridge, after watching Frontier House, but it's late. The likelihood of that happening is slim. Maybe tomorrow morning.

FRONTIER HOUSE!!! Is this the show on PBS where people live like they didn't way back when? If so, I love, love, love this show!!! When is it on?

Ok, looks like we all had an off week last week.

This week will be better!!!

Honestly, and I say this with complete humility cuz it hasn't always been this way, I don't have any room that needs work. I have some closets that could use some attention. And some drawers.

I'll be working in Kyle's room. We're painting and redecorating it. Ok, there are some drawers under his bed that need decluttering, but he's learning to do this on his own so we'll leave that to him with a little help from mama.

And dh needs to take care of his side of the garage. He has a 4 day weekend this coming weekend and this is what we have scheduled to work on.

Ok, I guess my house still needs work. I think as long as we are living there will be work do to.

So this week my goals are:

()front closet
()front bathroom drawer
()kyle's closet
()garage (dh's job)

It was on PBS again today!!! Funny because we had just taken out our tape of it to watch with Katie...I taped it last time it was on. At first I thought she'd put the tape back on, but it was broadcast, at least on our channel.

I have all but the last hour on tape. Today I got out the tape and tried to tape the last two hours, which had been taped over, but apparently I had it set on the wrong setting and it taped only an hour. Since I did the rest on EP to get it all on one tape, the quality is kinda crappy and the sound is low. But I'd be happy to loan it out if I can pry it out of dd's hands. LOL! We are reading Little House in the Big Woods and she is SO into it all.

Colonial House will be on tomorrow night at 8 pm on our PBS station, so watch for it. Frontier House, but set in the 17th century. I can't wait! I need to get a tape set up so Matt can tape it for me because I will be in school.

Frontier House motivates me to declutter big time. I have been sick, so I just parked my butt on the couch all day and watched it. My problem is when I'm sick and just sit all day, I am wired at midnight...so here I am, unable to sleep, darnit! Maybe I'll go clean out that pantry.

Oh and it also gets us talking about moving back to Alaska...sigh...our cabin was very similar to the Glenns' cabin in size. So sweet. I miss it!

Lauren, can I borrow it too? But only if your dd can part. I understand what it's like when little ones get into something and enjoy watching it over and over.

Let me know.
