MASTER BEDROOM declutter challenge!
Post your progress here, and let us see the end result via pictures if you can. Sharing our space can be so inspiring to others, and often we think of easier ways to do things, or better orgnization from seeing other's decluttered spaces! I think I will start another post for that...
Last week was GREAT!
Love Val ~ Your decluttering cheerleader for this spring.

Great job Suzie! (I always had a hard time spelling vacuuming too... but then I learned it from my sons spelling list. Sad isn't it?? I am a hoplessly bad speller.)

(In calm tone just in case we have any sudden movements from a cluttered corner.) Missy; we are all here for you. We will help you through this. Just jump in somewhere. The only thing to fear is the mess itself. Tehehee...
Well, all I did today was change the sheets and hang up an outfit. I 've had a massive headache - I thought it was sinus, but my dr. (who finally called back) told me it was migraine - so I took meds and am slowly becoming normal again. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.

Hope you are feeling better, Rivka.
I have done nothing, nothing! so far this week. In fact I am trying to finish up the kids' room, and that's my goal for today -- to catch up on putting laundry away in there, change the sheets, and do a little fine-tuning of the toy organization.
This is the very busy part of my week, though. Thursday-Sunday is likely when I'll get to the master bedroom.
But your progress is inspiring!!!
Oh! It wasn't in either of the assigned rooms, but I cleared off my desk on Sunday, and made up a big binder with Jake's developmental (not CF, LOL, that's a whole other binder!) information and records in it. I feel so much better!

I took the curtains down yesterday and washed them. Changed all the bedding. (Didn't get a lot done in the MB, but I got an area all set up for my sewing in the LR which was one of my goals for the month. Can't wait to get to actually use it. )
Today I went through our closet and have two bags of stuff to take to the thrift shop.
I also filled a box with decorative stuff that was sitting around gathering dust. I decided we just don't need it.
Later I hope to get through the dresser and maybe dust. We'll see if dd will let me. She's been very clingy the last few days, but she is getting her first tooth so I think that's why.
ETA - Got through the dresser and dusted everything. Tomorrow I will vacuum, put away the last basket of clothing and rearrange a little. Yay!!! Amost done. (Our bedroom really wasn't bad to start with, now if we get to the den/family room I will really be in for it...yikes!!!)

thank you for your kind words; migraines are awful. I have a very difficult time shaking them.
In the meantime, I have not gotten any work done on my bedroom - I think that I am a wash on this one. Thursday and Friday are my busy days in the house as I try to prepare for our Sabbath. My dh had told me that he would work on his half - and I guess I'm just waiting so that I will feel that it will be worth it to do mine. It is possible that if the Housing Department of Chicago were to see his side of the room - it would be condemned. Okay, actually, it's not quite that bad right now - he did do a little work.

is it thursday already?
I've fallen off the declutter wagon! DH went back to work today (yeah!), but I had planned to work in the mb today. How do you do it with kids around? I can't leave my older two downstairs for more than five minutes and the baby sleeps in our room, so if I want to work in there, I have to do it when he is awake, and then he tries to *help*. Ugh, and tonight, when dh is home, I have to work at the church office on Sunday's program.
It may be a all-day Saturday thing.

I went through my dresser and cleaned it all out. I also organized the closet. I still need to clean out underneath the bed and organize the giant stack of papers I have. Oh, and I need to dust.
