Smile I'm FINALLY having a garage sale on Saturday!

I'm a lurker who is thrilled to annouce I'm really having a garage sale! I've been *planning* to have a g-sale for literally YEARS! It must be the declutter bug in collusion with the pregnancy hormones. I spent about 4 hours today pulling all the stuff I wanted to sell out of the garage. This was a bigger job than it sounds...we have a two car garage that you couldn't park a bike in. There is one u-shaped path through it, with stuff stacked about four feet high. Very organized, for the most part, but still, WAY TOO MUCH STUFF! So much that it has overflowed into the house, into what should be the sitting room (a small alcove about 6'x8'). We've lived here for 3 months and I have yet to sit in my sitting room! By clearing out the stuff from the garage, and some of the stuff in the alcove will go in the sale, too, I'll be able to put the rest of the alcove items in the garage and finally have my sitting room. YEAH!

Of course, my ultimate goal is to be able to park the van in the garage by the fall when school starts. What I need to do that is a shed (to put the lawnmower, wheelbarrow, etc in) and some heavy duty shelves to stack stuff higher.

So the weather tomorrow is sunny and 65 ish and the high school down the street is having their plant sale, so I should get plenty of traffic. Wish me luck!
