Megmama, that's fine! I'm always up for frugal shipping, lol.

As for interests: See post below with kid info too.

actually, make that one less item we'll each be sending to you, Gwen.. we have the rainbow swap that needs to be mailed to Sonya on 8/1 - so I figure we'll throw her stuff in that box as well, if that's okay Save shipping all around!

as for my interests.. I'm enamored with bendies at this point and I'm wanting to try felting.. I've got some supplies but haven't been brave enough to try it yet. Took me 2 years of being scared to try bendies, so I'm thinking felting is aways down the road. I'm also a very beginning seamstress, and I'm hoping to learn more soon. We're pagan and love things for our altars and anything for our nature table.. Leila's my mermaid baby and I'm collecting mermaid stuff for her.. princess and fairy stuff for Lindsey.. and dragons/gnomes/elves/etc. for Joshua. For myself, I'm collecting anything goddessy and anything mother/child oriented... one of my prized posessions is a felted mother with a baby in a sling.

I'm not quite sure what I'm sending yet.. I've got a couple ideas, but I'm not sure where I'll go from there.. and I'm not sure if everything will be identical or individualized.. it'll come to me eventually. I'm fixated on trying to plan my girls' birthday party at the moment - once I get past that, I'll figure this out

ooooh ooooooh!!!! I know what I'm making!!! I know what I'm making!!!

just a wee bit excited because it might actually be a good idea. Just finished (well, mostly finished) one and I'm liking it

Gwen, you should have mentioned the need for sz3 dpn's when you were here yesterday. I know you've seen my jars of needles. You know I have spares lol.

Meg, if you don't have a sense of me yet you have to ask questions LOL! I can't think of anything to say about my interests that doesn't make me out to be a loon.

I gave up on the sock knitting idea for a bit and took that sock yarn back, lol. So, I don't need the needles any more, at least not yet. It's part of my decluttering frenzy and being brutal and all. Nothing not immediately beneficial or sentimentally useful.

Hey Meg, can you be sure to label who all of your swap items are for? That way my tired brain doesn't explode, lol. I think I understand what you are saying, that you are just hand delivering one item and shipping another with someone else (sorry, can't remember who, see what I mean? TIRED BRAIN, lol). Just label them so I throw them in the right box and don't screw it up .

hehe..good morning tired brain!! Yep, Jodi (Korwynne) and I will ship together as far as I understand. I will definitely label things as they will not be the same for everyone I'm sure Jodi will too.

Hugs...have fun waking up

Okay, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to send - can you all post kids, gender, age/size?
I may go a little away from the nature table/bendy genre, if that's okay. I'm on a simple princess/maid dress kick right now.

Hi Sonya:

Elijah is 3 and a half, boy, wears mainly 3T
Sophie is nearly 20 months, girl, moving into 2T now

If you wanted to make something for an older child, I have a niece who is turning 6 that is probably getting the rainbow princesses and loves little dolls or anything princessy so we'd love that too

Here's my kiddos:

Lindsey - will be 5 on July 31st. We're buying size 5 stuff for her right now - she's got really long legs and sometimes needs a 6 for length, but she's a 4 on top (almost a 5 for arm length, she'll be there with the next growth spurt), so we're splitting the difference and calling it a 5. She loves fairies and princesses and pinks, purples, blues and green. Yellow is actually her favorite color, but with her coloring, she looks horrible in it if it's something to wear. She's got a fairy bedroom and I'm collecting fairy houses for christmas for her to go with the bendies from the rainbow swap

Joshua - he's 3 1/2.. in a size 3, but I'm expecting a growth spurt and am buying 4s. Looks best in fall colors.. russets, burnt orange, dark green, gold, etc.. with the auburn hair, those colors are gorgeous on him. Green is his favorite color. Loves knights, dragons, pirates and gnomes. He's got a forest/dragon bedroom and I'm collecting castle and pirate nature table stuff for his birthday.

Leila - will be 1 on July 28th. She's in a 3-6 month, but I'm getting larger stuff for her to grow into. Collecting anything and everything mermaid for her.. clothes, toys, nature table stuff, room decor, whatever.. she's beautiful in oceany type colors - purple, teal, turquoise, green - and peachy pinks and salmony pinks.

Isabelle is 10...will be 11 Aug 9th. She loves purple and blue, tiny things, reading

Mason is 5 1/2. He likes books, building toys, drawing schematics of machines

Ummm...I hadn't even considered the whole nature table/bendy thing. I'm assuming since "anything goes" that's ok. But what I'm planning to make is a mama thing...not a kid thing. Is that ok?

Oh yeah! ANYTHING goes, lol. If it's crafty/sewn/creative, it goes, lol.

Winnie is 5 and loves your usual 5yo stuff, lol. She loves tiny things, bags, mermaids, princesses. I'd love to have an apron for her to wear over her dresses, like Little House on the Prarie, or dresses (a princess/maid dress would ROCK, lol). I'm also looking for little house style bonnets for wearing in the pool (she never puts her face/head in so it probably won't get wet). She's allergic to sunscreen and we have to keep her covered. She could use a rustic/handmade looking fairy house. Shoot, a cardboard one that's painted would suffice, lol.

Finn is 4 and all boy. He likes trucks, trains, wizards, dragons, knights. He would love one of those soft stuffed swords they have at the fancy toy stores for $20 that I always say "I'll make you 4 for that price" but then never do (poor kid, lol). Actually, Winnie would love a girly one of these too. He'd really love a homemade bow and arrows too (not sharp obviously, lol).

I want a pair of "smarty pants" so I can be Arty Smartypants for halloween. I would fly across the country and kiss someone if I got these in the mail ROFL. The fabric to make them would be awesome too. Yarn, of course is always welcome. Soft wool is especially useful. Bamboo knitting needles would rock in any size but 6. I'd love silver/gray, blue, white, sparkly, and earthtone fabric scraps big enough for circles the size of a compact disc or slightly smaller and large wooden beads (garland for my tree sized).

Neall, dh, loves wolves.
