I just have to start a gnome swap!

Mailing Date: Monday, April 10 (due with the music instruments swap)
Limit of: First 10 people who sign up
You will need to send 9 items, not including one for yourself

Little gardens for the gnomes

Hollow logs
Mushroom cap gnomes, mushroom cap people
Rocky playmat for gnomes
Gnome tree house
Gems
Forest animals
Gnome food - The main meal consists of: Nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, beechnuts, etc), mushrooms, peas, beans, a small potato, applesauce, fruit, berries (all kinds), tubers, spices, vegetables, and preserves for dessert. As a beverage, the gnome drinks mead dew (fermented honey), fermented raspberries (which have a very high alcohol content), and spiced gin as a nightcap - this would be good for you Rebecca, with your new book, lol!
Underground playmat - I'm thinking something like under the roots of a tree ...

hmmmm....what to make, i am thinking i may need to attemp some kind of gnome house after seeing that amazing toadstool house today or..maybe hmmm.....let me go back and look at the list again

OKAY....I think i am going to attempt tree stumps or hallow logs, i have been dying to make some of those for my kids so here is the kick in the pants i needed. How is doign gnomes? i need to know how big they are

I am going to do gems with a little sack. What is the size of the gnomes going to be? So I know what scale to make my sacks!

And I'm totally serious about this gnomes on the brain thing ... what am I doing right now, you might wonder? Since 7:15 (3 hours now), I have been writing my gnomes in the garden curriculum unit for Earth*School on K&F. It is going out tomorrow so I had to finish it up tonight. I am all about the gnomes, lol!

...as a total aside, Bonnie I was curious about the curriculums at K&F. I didn't know that you were the one that did them. Is there somewhere where I can read more info about them?

edited to add that I'd love to work on a sack of gnome food....would beer steins be appropriate?
