Thanks for letting us know, Jodi. I hope things get better for you soon - I know you have a lot of personal issues to process from the past couple of months. (((hugs)))

I have moved into mass production phase on these bendies and want to make sure I am not making too many. Are we dropping the coat idea? And if so, does that mean we are now at 12 making 11? Just trying to get an idea....

Thanks!

i am dropping this one. MONTHS ago i went out and bought a bunch of
lampposts for the swap. however, i wasn't able to find enough for everyone.

now - with all thats been happening with swap items and values etc - i
don't feel comfortable sending something i bought - that took me all of
2 minutes to get and receive the items i am reading about.

i'm sorry because i know that the lamppost is a major part of the story. i just don't feel right about it

I haven't shipped yet; I will make it by the deadline but am not offended by an extension. I was wondering about Aslan myself - I would offer to do him but am already very much onto my project with the White Witch.

There are lion patterns in both Sewing Tiny Toys and that Animals A-Z (can't rememebr exact name right now). I would be happy to send a copy to someone if they want to take on Aslan's creation. I think the one in Sewing Tiny Toys looks a little more straight-forward - his mane isn't crazy elaborate but really for our house the essense of him will be in the fact that he's a great lion - no more, no less.

My 2 cents

Oh but here's a third cent: I think my WW might be my favorite bendy I've ever made, ever. I also think I am going blind wrapping the @!%@^&$ things

I agree we do need Aslan badly. I've started Lucy(who we also need) so I'm gonna stick with her. I'm fine with the deadline being pushed back a bit.

Adding a couple of weeks to the deadline is fine with me, just not too much because this set is a bday present in mid June for a friend.

OMG! I would LOVE the deadline to be pushed back a bit! I have TWENTY bendies to make and only have the two prototypes made......... I have been so swamped with 'stuff' around here.......

I wish I could take on Aslan......but I feel like Mr Tumnus and Susan are important too. I reaaaalllly want an Aslan too! Maybe someone could do Susan and I could try taking on Aslan?? Only if we move the date for sure though!

My only concern about pushing it back a few weeks is a possible train wreck with the fairy houses swap. I've seen a lot of people drop other swaps to focus on the houses, and I'd hate for that to happen with this one if we push back a few weeks and people wait until close to the deadline to really do their project. I need to keep on scedule with making these now b/c right after this is due I have June 1 bug swap, then two due on 6/16, then more due on 6/26, and so on. Soooo - just something to consider.

Aslan - if we are looking at opening a spot back up for Aslan and no one here can do it, maybe there is someone "out there" on the board who would be willing to do him? We'd need to act fast in asking so they actually have time to complete him and do a nice job of it

Also, if we move the date (or if we keep it where it is!) I hope people will be considerate of the fact that we have a mama who planned to give this as a birthday gift in mid-June. That would mean items need to be shipped out a weel prior (???) and the hostess needs time to sort, etc....

More cents from me
