Beltane/May Day Swap *TIME TO SHIP*
Gather ye fairies and bendies around the Maypole to celebrate!!

This swap will be doe Friday, March 24th with the Garden Party and Spring Swaps to save everyone on shipping costs.


Ideas:
maypoles of course
bendies to dance around
flower fairies
flower headdresses for the kids to wear
bendy sized puppets for a may day parade (you know bread and puppet puppets? - http://www.theaterofmemory.com/art/bread/photos_1.html)
flowers
baskets
May king and queen bendies
fire of any sort
fairy queen
fairy queen's white horse (The Queen of the Fairies rides out on a snow-white horse, looking for mortals to lure away to Fairyland for seven years. Folklore says that if you sit beneath a tree on this night, you will see Her or hear the sound of Her horse's bells as She rides by. If you hide your face, She will pass you by but if you look at Her, She may choose you.)

fairy looking glass (I read somewhere that if you twist a sprif of rowan into a circle and look through it on Beltane Eve you may be able to see the fairies )

Crafting is my therapy too. I have been a much happier mama since I have started to work for a couple of hours a night but then craft for a couple of hours after that. Granted, this is only working now because Holden doesn't nap anymore and the kids now go to bed at 7:00

I do hope your fingers don't fall off!
