Craft Supply Swap - CLOSED - SEND ME YOUR PICKS!

Note -- I am not being bad! Really, I'm not!! This is to help everyone with their current craft swaps, lol!

Would anyone be interested in a craft supplies swap? I know, from reading a lot of posts about this lately, that I am not the only craft supply hoarder here, lol! I have so much stuff that I will never get around to using Yet there are other things that I really need to finish up some ideas I have. I was thinking that we could get together a different kind of swap where everyone can clean out their supplies, sending supplies they are not using to others, while receiving needed supplies in return

It would work like this: As many people can sign up as desired. There would be no limit on this because it will work completely differently than the actual craft swaps.
Once you sign up to participate, you would go through your craft supplies and make up packages valued at $15 and post those packages here. For example, I might put together a package of school themed scrapbooking supplies and list that as one of the packages I have to offer.
You can list as many packages as you want. Also you can list items that you are in need of because that may spark someone to create a package with those items in mind )
There will be a deadline for posting what you have available.
After that deadline, everyone would email/PM me with the packages (and the name of who is offering each one) that they would like to receive and I will match everyone up. Everyone will then send out andreceive the same number of packages, though they will not be sending to and receiving from the same person. I might send to Kris who would send to Heather who would send to Rebecca who would send to me, kwim? But you wouldn't have to worry about any of this, I will take care of this (I used to organize these swaps on MDC all the time too, just ask Jodi ).
Once I finish the match ups I would post them all ehre, who is sending to whom, and you would PM who you are sending to for her address and send off the package.

Can you tell I was cleaning my craft room today? LOL!

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is skin for the Waldorf dolls. I got 3 yards from Rebecca (Where's Waldorf) and can't imagine using it all. Other than that I really don't know. Not that I hate to share but I know if I give something up I'll need it in a week!

I'm glad there is some interest And Kris, I'm cracking up that you just signed up before even reading it ... this could have been that swap for cat poop that Heather was talking about

Here's what I know I have available (and I will make my descriptions more detailed when I am not supposed to be sewing 4 orders of diapers)
Scrapbooking supplies
Rubber stamps
Papers and fibers
wool yarn

Things that I know I am in need of:
felting needles
felting needles with handle
foam for felting
wool felt, either 100% or 80% wool, lots of colors and white/natural
good pipe cleaners for bendies
wooden miniatures of almost any kind
wool roving, especially natural and brown, I will be needing a ton of brown for one of my swap ideas
sculpey or fimo clay, natural colors (meaning colors found in nature, not anything like hot pink or neon green) and black

Well, you know I have tons of this, lol! The fleece I am working through is 6 pounds ... that is a whole heck of a lot of wool!! Between what I washed tonight and what I had to throw away, I barely even made a dent in the box!

Well, why do you think I want to join here, Bonnie
I got these hand carders for Christmas and now I want to use them

But truly, I do have too much craft stuff as well.

eta I am so interested in felting needle handles, especially ones for more than one needle; I also need more fine needles, I noticed that two are getting quite dull tips.

Well, I'm trying to box stuff up for the move and have oodles of things I'd just as soon not continue to deal with. Off the top of my head I know I have

Several boxes and bags (at least 20 lbs) of dirty uncarded wool
size 36 and 38 felting needles (I bought 25 of each since it was cheaper lol)
a couple of lbs of wool batt and stuffing
1 lb cones of cotton yarn in a variety of colors (I bought 30 or so on clearance and have been working through it but I have lots and am wishing there was an end in sight)
a couple of 100 yard bolts of 3/4" grosgrain ribbbon in black, grey, and red
a box full of natural dying supplies including instrunctional dvd

I know theres tons more, especially if anyone is interested in trims and sewing notions, I just need to keep digging-- I'm pretty overwhelmed.
