I'm thinking of attempting wells, and also some sort of mosaic patio stone...to set up the patio on...does that make sense?

we got our birthday things today too rebecca. we set up both nature tables again (seriously, this is a daily thing now, lol) and we have the most random set up on kenna's table right now! She did hers all herself; I'll have to post pics in the AM when I can see straight. But she has the fairy house I made at Heather's, with a rainbow silk on top, on the top floor the root children I made last year are having a birthday party with Kenna's half of the birthday tiny things items. The other 2 floors are empty. The pagoda, that also came today, is in front of the table, with the table and chairs from the V day swap, and the gnome from peaceful winter and the Chinese bendy girl are having a romantic dinner with the items from geogirl. So she has this birthday/Chinese New Year/Fairy/Valentine's Day theme going on and it's really funny! Oh yeah, and the pagoda has the patry sign strung up across the front of it!

Holden and I worked on his and he has some deer and a snowman wearing the birthday crownswith bowls of ice cream and cakes. There is confetti and the insta snow everywhere, all over the table. And he has the gnome house with the birthday banner on it, but no top because he thinks that otpis his hat. He always wears his hat when he plays with his nature table. And he has a bunch of rabbits in th ebig white cave, and his obligatory birdhouse that he stuffs with all the tiny things and stones that he can get his hands on

Dear Mom and Dad- I may parent differently than you did. This does not mean that I think you did it "wrong." However, it also does not mean I am doing it wrong.

Ya'll are all so creative. With my third trimester preggo brain over here, it is a good thing I already had ideas for the current swaps.

I just cannot think straight to do much of anything but function.

After baby comes and I get my brain back, I know the creativity will come back and I will have good ideas again.

til then, I hope you all will just keep them coming so I can feed off them and just copy . Pathetic, huh?

To be On topic, I love the mosaic paitos idea and the ponds and wishing wells. I was thinking of doing wells for the gnome swap but will do bridges instead.

Bonnies, thanks for sharing your nature table adventures. Sounds like my kiddos to a T!!! It is all relevent in the Nature table world.

I am not sure what patio? Are you talking about the patio I am making for Fairyland? The one I am making for that one *looks* like brick. I love it..I did a practice run and it's CUTE I am making wishing wells for the Scenery swap ...with stoney walls and a mossy top I think the stones would look way cute on the patio though Am I making any sense..it's been a day..sigh!

YAY Bonnie and Zoe-Anne! Glad you got your tiny things!! Funny story about the banner...I was going to make them say HAPPY BIRTHDAY..with like a little star or heart seperating the two words..then I thought how long that would really be...

Hmmmmm..Kris. With this swap it has to be weather proof so I dunno... My patio for FairyLand is made of Fimo..so would not be good for this swap..lol. It's only about 5x5 too. The birdbaths for this one I am making out of tiny terra cotta pots..but for the FairyLand patio...they will be Fimo as well.

Not much help from me ..huh...LOL

Very funny because I know that a nursing baby takes all my brain cells for a long time. Don't know what I was thinking. Wishful...

If you go to the paint store there are lots of different kinds of weatherproofing finishes for wood. I'm sure that you could find something that would be appropriate.

I think I will have to drop this one. I just can't think of anything to make, although I will be sad when I see all the gorgeous items that come out of it!!
