Duncan will want a face on his, regardless of how I feel about it.

...for the life of me, I can't figure out what I want to make for this swap. I was thinking of making "swords in the stone" How does that sound to you guys? Duncan King Arthur, so that's what made me think of that.

Answering 2 questions:

Lorraine, I love the s in the s idea!!

Really, I don't care if we have a face but my ds would like it.

Thanks to everyone for replying:

Now, do you all want a king? A queen? A horse for the knights? I just can't decide either because I want all those things...but whatever you guys want because I made Wil a royal family for his 4th bday last year. (King, Queen, Princess, Prince, Knight--just never got around to the jester or the wizard).

thanks for the laugh!! I needed that!! I would love to make them all but then I can't make anything for the Fun in The Sun or the Pirate swap. Then I would be very in trouble with some young family members of mine and they really might be able to kick my butt, since they live a little closer to me than you do!
So what are you making anyway? I saw moats? Is that right? Well, since you have finished those, maybe you can take on one of the ones I mentioned , then we will have the full set!!

so i'm doing the moat, is that lame? lol
it sounds lame
how can I make it unlame? I think it would be cool to have a moat tho...
I was thinking of doing wool felt, like a wide 1/3 of a circle, like a wide smile, then taking wool fleece and make it wavy, maybe I could put a serpent in the moat?.......

oh and I don't care if we have a face or not either is great!
as long as their heads don't spin, lol

ok
did Heather even tell you guys the first time I saw the back of a waldorf doll?? I have this very cute(cuze it tiney) but also very pretty snow fairy, it's just a ball of stuff white silk, with a skin colored tricot? head and white fleece hair, hung on a string, I like, it, well, my lovely puppy got a hold of it so the white fleece top isn't as poofy as it once was, and now you can see hte back of the head
so I showed heather
and i was like looks, two heads, kinda scary huh? I guess they messed up on that side
and she just stares at me
shaking her head
and says
no stacey, you idiot, that's how they make waldorf heads, they knit thru the head
and I was like
oh
oooooohhhhhh
:lol

It's okay, really. I try to keep her on a straight path and sometimes she just veers to the left and runs. Fortunatley for the internet you don't have to listen to her pronounce words She makes uip wys to say things and then has no clue why i don't know what she's saying

Stacey , I am cracking up, lol!

And the moat idea sounds great, not lame. All castles need a moat.

I'm at heather's ... this is Stacey I've oven taken her pc while heather and bonnie saw my fairy house sticks....but alas, it's true, I pronounce calendula like cAl -en - Doula

the castle size won't matter cuz I am going to cut a wide a circle as I can with a felt square, but use two of them together....and sew them in the middle...I will work on this soon(as in next week) if they need to be wider, they can be snipped to widen them, kwim?
