how about just doing the front of the castle with folded in sides, that way it would still stand up....and you(I mean, the kids) could enter the castle into woodland, onto a silk, kinda like walking thu the cupboard in the narnia series

if the new opening wasn't already spoken for I would be honored to have it....or I have an idea, off to pm....

I don't think that it is spoken for. And I am all finished with my items and would have an extra one if no one fills Tawnya's spot ... I would say you should be in

woohoo
ok when I think of castles I think of big huge awesome fire places and I think of dungeons, and or I could make the moat(which is being done in swap #2)

I like the dungeon idea, lol
I would make a brick wall with cuffs coming out of the wall for wrist holds and an iron gate doorway, like a jail, maybe some writing inscribed on the wall like 'merlin was here'

or, for a fire place, a big stone fireplace with a mantle, and of course a fire glowing inside

for a moat, I was thinking some lightly felted wool rooving in shades of blue made into a large circle

we have to do a robin hood's swap!!!!!
and a viking swap!!!!!!!
and i have to be in them

Stacey - definitely do the dungeons! That sounds like a great idea

And I like the ideas as well. I will add them to that sticky. Do you want to try your hand at hosting again or do you want Kris to take care of them? LMK

We haven't chatted abou this swap in a while. I know we have wizards, for sure but who else is concrete?

I have waffled on about kings, princesses and horses. I am just really waiting to see what everyone else is coming up with and filling in on this swap.

Sooo, whatcha makin? Thanks, I am starting something for this, this week!!

Well I'm still doing bendy knights. They're almost done. I'm painting faces now. They will be the 2.5" size.

Unless you are done with all the face could you not paint a face on mine/ Maya won't play with the ones that have faces I've found out.

that is peculiar (not in a bad way). It is just that I started out making bendies with painted faces. My children loved them. Now that I make them without faces, they love those too. At first it was strange to them, until I explained that they could have any emotion, etc, but they are just fine with it now.

I guess I need a count of people who definitely want faces, or definitely don't on the knights.
