Mcmrymoon -- you can certainly coordinate this if you wan tto! I just wanted to get the ball rolling

Limit - first 8 mamas, so we are sending 7 items a piece
Theme - snow, winter animals
Mailing date - Saturday, January 7th

Ideas:
hibernating animals
caves/burrows
bare trees
berries on shrubs
Arctic animals
snow scene
snow play mat
animals we see in winter (deer, squirrels, etc.)
snowy places for animals to live/sleep like a snowy log, snowy tree, etc.

What is everyone thinking of making/ I want to try to make a snowy scene of some sort, but have no idea what I am really thinking yet. If I don't do that then I am going with my original idea of penguins.

i am planning on needle felting a snowy mat (alittle smaller than 8x10) with some sort of hiding spot on it...most likely a blob with a hole LOL

I was thinking about bunnies. I don't know why but I have a hankerin' to make them. I made one for Duncan and they're just so dang cute.

I am going to be making little kits to have "snow".. going to be purchasing the "insta-snow" here: http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/product/1262 and making little packs so everyone can have real like snow for thier nature table set up's.. I have been meaning to get this for ages- it is re-usable, but I am going to make several single use little packs for everyone. You can dry it out and re-use or just vacuum it up.
