Back on topic, I am leaving the kids home with Scott this afternoon to go to JoAnn's and use my GC from Christmas. Bonnie, I went to yet another store yesterday in search of wool felt and was told that the Waterbury store is turning into a super center.

Oooo!! I didn't even know that! Very cool! I am pretty happy. I'll bet it is because they are trying to compete with the new Michael's that opened up a couple of months ago. There are now 3 stores within 5 min of each other... Michael's and then Joann's and the Rag Shop are across the street fomr each other.

I am trying to save up funds for a cheap embroidery machine. You know I have been dying for one forever, and I am just never going to be able to aford a realy nice one. But I can pick up a Brother and then maybe somewhere down the line I will be able to upgrade it ... anyway, you will have to come over to help me figure out what the heck to do with it, lol, and we can go to Joann's

With any luck I will be able to get the machine before gnomes

That's the plan at least!

ugh - i was finishing up the winter scenes and ran out of wool roving!!! i am running to my lys today (gotta sneak outta work - hopefully they are open) or definitely tomorrow.

but - there will be other swaps in the package so this will be late - but i'll be ahead of the game for the other ones!!!

I can't mail today either. I think Lily may have slep 3 hours total last night and 20 minutes this morning. Maya was up from midnight to 6 this morning playing in her room. They both break down in tears if anything goes wrong so i don't even dare to put them in the car and go to the PO.

I am going to mail tomorrow too.. have peaceful winter but wanted to include valentine day... and have 4 more cupid's bows to make! I was going to mail Peaceful winter.. but since other people are late, it wont matter if I mail tomorrow too!

We set up Kenna's table for winter about a week and a half ago. She has a section all ready for the peaceful winter swap ... her little ice berg is very lonely sitting there by itself, lol!

ok - anyone still not shipped yet? i am on a crafting roll and can include some other things if i can have a couple more days. however, if i am holding anyone up i can at least get v-day and peaceful winter in the mail tomorrow.

peaceful winter and v-day are going out today. got nothing else done - got struck with the puking/pooping virus thingy sat nite. even had to call dh home from a card game to help me out! spent sun in bed all day and monday i had to take care of everything i couldn't do this weekend! LOL

thank god those things only last 24 hours. good news though - i lost a solid 5 pounds!! there was no need to count little lines either......it was a definite 5 pounds LOL it was enough to kick start my diet!!!!
