is there going to be a january swap?

now that my stuff is sent - i am itching to do more! what would be good january ideas........new year (like felted funky hats, baby new year bendies, ribbon streamers, noise makers), peaceful winter (hibernating animals, caves/burrows, bare trees, berries on shrubs)

is there any interest?

Sounds good to me we could do a Valentine's Day/Winter/New Year swap with an early January mailing deadline.

You want to host it? I can if you don't want to, just let me know.

My husband thinks I'm nuts. I think the winter animals would be awesome. Then, we could have a Valentine's swap too. And St Patrick's and Easter....

What about a snow and winter animals (like peaceful winter that Mcmrymoon suggested) one for early January, then mid January would be Valentine's Day? I want to make fimo penguins and maybe seals for the first one; I thought of them last night

Just so the idea doesn't get lost in the holiday shuffle, I'll go start sign ups now

We can do a New Year's one, but the mailign date owul dhave to be soon ... I am up for it because i'm all done with the others and I finished up all my orders Yippee!! I'll start a thread about that too tosee fi there is enough interest

yeah! i have visions of a winter snow capped scene with little spots to tuck little sleeping animals..............

oh i agree - we need a separate valentine's day one!

can we make it small too? i want to try to make needle felted trees with a tiny opening to hide in....or something along that line....and i think i could only make a few! (if any at all! LOL)

I just started sign ups for New Year's, Valentine's Day and Peaceful Winter. The snowy scene you describe sounds perfect!!

I kept the New Year small, limit of 5 because it's a quickie

The other 2 I put at 7 so we have to make 6 items ... is this too big? We can always make them smaller.

Dear Mom and Dad- I may parent differently than you did. This does not mean that I think you did it "wrong." However, it also does not mean I am doing it wrong.

What about a "Tropical Vacation" one in the dead of winter-

Maybe a coconut house for bendies in bikini's- or a grass hut made from raffia

That's a neat idea! Maybe we could do something like that next, having it due in February.

I would also love to do a Chinese/Chinese New Year themed swap ... origami, dragons, lanterns, bendies dressed in traditional Chinese garb, mini fortune cookies, etc...
