I have little metal lunchboxes that I was going to make a fairy label for and magnetic fairys to play with... then they could keep other small fairy items inside. The labels and magnetic fairy's would be laminated. Would this be appropriate?

I mention becuase the laminate is a plastic.. I could leave it off, but it would not be as sturdy.. but I will leave it up to recipeients.

If I am totally off base then I will come up with something else.

Dear Mom and Dad- I may parent differently than you did. This does not mean that I think you did it "wrong." However, it also does not mean I am doing it wrong.

I need some advice. I am trying to make these figures.. I have some gnomes and fairy's... what would thier size relation be? I mean is a gnome larger or smaller than a fairy?

Also- I would be happy to personalize each lunch box.. if you would like me to put 'Veronika's Fairy Box" or something with your child's or your familys last name.. please let me know.

This is from the info link I posted on the gnome thread:

Gnomes:
Description : Gnomes are usually an average of 15 centimeters tall, but with its cap on it appears much taller. Their feet are somewhat pigeon toed which gives them an extra edge on speed and agility through the wood and grass. The males weigh 300 grams, and female is 250-275 grams.

The male wears a peaked red cap, a blue brown-green pants, and ether felt boots, birch shoes, or wooden clogs. Around his waist is a belt with a tool kit attached, holding a knife, hammer, etc. They are fair of face, though the boast rosy red cheeks. Long beards adorn their faces and turn gray far sooner than their hair.

The female wears gray or khaki clothing, consisting of a blouse and skirt (to ankles). She also has black-gray knee socks and high shoes or slippers. Before she is married, she dons a green cap.

Prior to marriage her hair in hanging down, the outfit is complemented by a green cap and braids with which later disappear under a scarf while the green cap is replaced by more somber tones after she marries.

The fairy info is divided up by fairy type form stories/lore, so here is what I could find about what we would call fairies:
Pixies:
Aka : Urchins, Pisgies, Piskies, Pigseys, Pechts, Pechs, Pickers, Grigs or Dusters

Origin : Scotland,Cornwall

Element : Air

Appearance : small, winged creatures with pointed ears, noses and arched eyebrows. Their wings are shiny and translucent, and they are usually seen wearing seasonal colors and flora. The little caps they wear are the tops of foxglove or toadstool, plants they hold sacred. Their bells are often heard on the moor. They like to steal horses and torture them to get them to run faster.

Friends/Foes : friendly but capricious. Beware of doing pixies favors, for they have a tendency to backfire. Excessive contact with iron can kill Pixies.

Lore : In flower gardens. Pixies are trooping faeries who love playing, dancing, and music especially during large gatherings known in northern England as Pixie Fairs.

Pilliwiggins:
Aka : Flower Faeries, Spring Faeries.

Race : Flower Faeries

Origin : England and Wales.

Element : Air

Time : Spring and early summer

Appearance: small winged creatures who also ride bees from flower to flower.

Friends/Foes : playful but mostly indifferent to humans

Lore : among wildflowers which grow at the foot of large oaks.

Famous : Ariel the Pillywiggin Queen

I was hoping to find comparative fairy height ,along with the gnome height, but no luck, lol!
