Shipping plan is a flat rate priority box.
After watching me work on the last three swaps, Sage REALLY wants to have a swap! So how about a kid's craft kit swap? Each person would send in a kit in a ziplock baggie with a sheet of instructions. We were thinking age range of 5-9yrs. Kit cost would be around $1-3 dollars. Ship date: Sept. 30th. I think to keep it managable, maybe we should cap at 10 kids, not sure on this one though?
Styled like the sewing swaps, sign up for the number of different kits you would like and send in one kit per child signed up ie. I am signing up two kids.... I will make sock puppet kits and finger crochet kits- so I will prepare one kit for each child signed up. Clear as mud, eh?
The ideas Sage and I had were:
Strung Bead necklaces
sculpey figure kit
wool ball kit
walnut shell boats
sock puppets
felt chicky
walnut shell critters
pinecone critters
pinwheels
ribbon streamer ring
suncatchers
origami
finger crochet

Ooh, can I make bendy kits? I have tons of supplies I will never use! Actually, in general I have tons of supplies so I will see what I can thin out and maybe I will send out doubles to make my DH happy since we are trying to pack to move.
This swap will be a life saver for me on boring days
Lindsey and Josh would love to participate if I could come up with something to send - let me think on it and I'll drop if I can't come up with something soon I need to see what supplies I've got...
Ooh I'm in! I'll have to decide what to send, and then edit my post. Dylan will be thrilled to have an assortment of different crafts to do.

Ok, I'm lost on the details of this swap though, lol! I am sending for one child. But I'm not sending a kit for every child in the swap? I am only sending the number of kits that I would like to receive back? Is that right? So if I want to receive 2 kits back for McKenna, I would send in 2 (not 2 sets of 10 kits each)?
Ok, I know what I can send. Tell me how many to make so I can get started.
I will do playdough mixes that the kids can make at home, then have it to play with for a while.
