I edited the OP to add that this is a magical tiny things AND fall tiny things swap now

And just to confuse matters more, lol -- would it be possible to move the mailing date closer? I'm thinking September 5th? Here's my reasoning -- The fairies come to visit our house every (Pagan) holiday. So if we ended this swap early, then the fairies could bring my kiddos the fall items for Mabon (9/21) and then bring the magical tiny things for Samhain (10/31). Since the items being sent for this are mostly going to be found (or tiny cafted things that shouldn't take too long -- I'm crafting for the magical part and it shouldn't take me more than an hour to make what I am sending) would anyone be opposed to sending by 9/5? That would give us 9 days.

LMK what you think!!

And the swap will stay open until 9/1 (if we go with the earlier send date; if not, I will change the closing date of the swap)

I got my fall tiny things together this morning

I an sending marigold seed pods to everyone.

For the magical things, I am sending tiny rune beans (lima beans with runes printed on them).

I will be mailing Tuesday, I put together some Acorns and hawthorn pinecones for the fall swap,
and I got p[ermission from Selena to do some cool toadstools, so I am sending those for the magical swap

I cant; wait to see what everyone else does

I just wanted to run something past everyone.

I am sending 1 tiny thing on behalf of each of my children for both the fall and the magical swap right?

I have acorns and pinecones for the fall swap
and stones and toadstools for the magical swap

I figure since i am getting somethign for each of my kids I shoudl send something from each of them right?

I did the same thing in the last tiny swap, I just want to know if I am doing this right

its all packed up and ready to go....adn i cant; wait to see what everyone eles is send

we are going to do some nice woodburned boxes to keep it all in

I'm sending tiny grapvine wreaths and tiny besoms (brooms). I'm planning on making some magical items, but it depends on what this hurricane does.

See, this is why it's good to ave Kris around, lol! I didn't even think to put that ni the OP!! But yes, if you are sending for more than one child, please send a set from each child. So if you are receiving for 2 kiddos, please send 2 sets of fall items and 2 sets of magical items. Makes sense?

Ok, my updated sending ist --

Magical - bean runes and wishing stones
Fall - marigold seed pods and something else ... I might send tiny birdhouse gourds, but that depends on how many people end up in the swap, and how many baby birdhouse gourds I can get away with picking from our garden without McKenna noticing, lol. If not, I will think of something else

I just saw that the date moved up to the 5th. Is there anyway I can mail on the 8th? We're out of town until then, and I've already got half the stuff at home, I just didnt' bring it with me to mail off before we leave here. I can understand if it's not okay, but we'd really love to be in this!

I signed up for three kids (my grandbabies). now there are 14 kids in the swap so do I send 11 fall and 11 magic items or do I send 3 fall and 3 magic?

This is my first swap and want to get it right.

If i were you i would count on there being closer to 20 kids, as there may be some last minute sign ups

But basically want to send somethng to represent each of yoru grandkids in each part of the swap
ie. I have 2 kids so i am sending 25 things twice for both parts of it, the fall adn the magical. so i am sending 2 sets of fall things, and 2 sets of magical things..now i am choosing to send 25 items becasue i am mailign really early and i just want to cover my bases just in case there are alot more kids, and if there are less Bonnie can just send me back my extras or divid them up as part of the swap

is that clear as mud?

I have a knack for making the simple sound complicated....

I cant' wait to see what everyone send

I finished yesterday so will be mailing on Tues. as the P.O. is closed for the holiday.

I'm sending ginco leaves, tiny gourds and milkweed pods for fall and for magical I'm sending fairy wishing pine cones, fairy crowns and bendy fairies.
