Halloween and Thanksgiving craft pics

I put up some pics on flickr temporarily until I can get my blog set up. But I had to share some of the things I made this year. Check it out I have a hord of bendy mummies, zombie heads, bats, cones, cats, cauldrens, etc. I have a Halloween tree and a Halloween table too.

Hopefully I'll have better descriptions soon.

Oh and they were so simple to make.

I took a wooden bead and a smaller wooden ball and glued them together with a strong glue. I used goop, but I think you could use a high melt glue gun if you wanted to. I then painted the spider bodies black. I found some really cool pipe cleaners in Halloween colors to use as the legs. I took 2 pipe cleaners and cut them in half. I thread them through the wooden bead until the pipe cleaners were sticking out evenly on both sides. I then put a small amount of craft glue or school glue in the hole to secure the pipe cleaners. Let the glue dry and then shape the legs.

Bendy Mummies Attack is funny! I like how they have pieces of wrap hanging off. But my FAVORITE is the zombie heads! Too cool!

I had a blast making all this stuff. I'm putting together a blog with my projects on it. I just got the directions for how to do the zombie heads on there.

Sorry I didn't answer right away. I used white baby yarn to wrap the mummies. It was cheap and the right width and texture I was looking for. And of course I used cheap Red Heart Yarn to make the zombie heads. I have the directions for the basic ball pattern I used for the heads. Then its just a matter of decorating it.

I didn't get to make half of what I wanted to make for the tree. So sometime in the spring, I'll probably start making more, LOL.
