Any rughookers? or wanna be ones ** QUESTION IN OP FOR YOU!! ** NEED YOUR INPUT!

OK gonna pare this OP down to the jist I NEED TO DOWNSIZE BIG TIME! so out go all my crafty stuff -- I have not forgotten about you guys... I have been staring at the stuff and wondering how the heck the best way to do this is.

I of course would love to get it all out at once,

I would take $150PPD insured with dc# for the fraser 500 and all the blades I have thats an awesome deal really! The cutter itself sells for around $150 and the blades are $15 ea and this is in perfect working order and a dream to quickly get wool stripped in whatever sizes you want to hook in - just strip what ya need!!

unlike me I went bonkers and stripped a ton because I was addicted to it LOL

I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about selling the stripped wool because I spent a while counting out a pile and got several hundred without even making a dent in it... and that was a SMALL pile!! LOL whew I do not have time to count out the strands

HOW WOULD YOU PREFER TO BUY " LOTS " Or is someone very interested and has a few hundred they want to put in to a craft and be ready to go for quite awhile?! Should I make up a bunch of smaller roughly 500-800 strips" same color pallet lots " and a bunch of " hit n miss ( mix of different colors ) " or just pile it all together and must take all the wool strips at once?!

Its only 8PM there is plenty of time in my day left of course lol but I am working on it mamas!!! I am! Its almost depressing when I keep putting things into the boxes of stuff I need to sell.

I am going to be selling the large pieces of uncut wool by weight and flat rate boxes will probably be our friend here.. I will put together like colors in lots and fill up the flat rates that way. I'm thinking $20-25ppd a box I have a big rubbermaid tote full some already washed n felted

Just wanted to lyk that I have not forgotten about you all that are interested! I'm already feeling the crunch on time, since tomorrow is Sunday!

AH! ok back to figure things out! lol

----------------------------------------------------
I have a ton of 100% wool already striped in sizes 3-8

but I also have a ton of 100% wool fabric both new and recycled that I need to unload!

I have a fraser stripper too that I think I may need to just sell as well with additional cutters.

and on other crafting venues :
fabric various wovens possibly some flannel, cord in various colors, a bolt of muslin that I think I may need to just sell

sewing/quilting books I think I need to just part with

ahhhh mamas gotta not be so crafty!

I am not at home til Friday evening, but can provide more info and pics this weekend if interested!

I will need to do as much paypal transactions as possible to help with moving expenses and just planning for Cadens birthday and holidays since I need to get a few more things still..... but if you have things I am iso I would gladly trade happily!

jlmk if ya wanna know more

Its a rather " new " craft for me .. started a bunch of ones and haven't finished them lol but I really love the finished look and ability to do ANYTHING you want with the wool strips of differnet sizes - shading, detail work, writing ect - you can search ebay for : rug hooked or rug hooking and a bunch of different finished items will come up -- you can draw your own patterns onto burlap, linen, weavers cloth ( a heck of a lot cheaper then buying them! )

heres a candle mat that is almost done ( just need to back it with the wool its laying on)

and of course these are rug hooked items I recently made to try n sell and couldn't lol ah well ( pins will be mil xmas present, heart n hand will be mine now and goddess... well trying to still sell that one )

I am very interested in your wool supplies ( I have always wanted to do this craft but haven't found the supplies yet) plus I am always interested in any craft books as well. Do you have prices yet? I would love pics if its not to much trouble. thanks Sarah

I'm not at my house yet which is slowing the process down ( we are staying at the inlaws til tomorrow night, then will drive back up to our house for the weekend then back here for next week ) anyways lol

I don't have any fancy rug hooking frames or gripper frames - just used hoops.... I have estimated prices in which I would like to get for the wool and misc stuff and once I get to my things I will go through and start creating a list and take pics and do everything I possibly can do friday night to sunday afternoon

believe me, tomorrow night I will be busy!! I may not get online til Saturday just so I keep busy and round up everything and do a mass photo upload of all the stuff that I need to try to part with

needing $ sucks ontop of knowing I have to get rid of stuff just to move into a house closer to dh work ... and I had been so happy I had decluttered SO much this past year and now out of necessity I need to pare down more not out of want to simplfy .... its a need - dangit! lol

ah well theres plenty of talented mamas that have space for things that I will just have to buy or trade for their creations!

I'll get everything together ASAP mamas! thanks!!

I believe I will be parting with my Fraser 500 so if you want to look that up ahead of time to get an idea of what it is .... I am going to be wanting to get $110 for it and I will include one blade, but the others will be $10 each I have 2 or 3 can't remember forsure ( not counting the one included with the cutter ) I do not have the wrench to make blade changes easy but its not hard to do it with otherwise - I have seen some sites sell the wrenches alone so thats always a possiblity.

I have at least 1 huge wooden hoop, possibly 2 ( may keep 1 ) I have 3 or 4 rug hooks of various sizes ( for fine wool to #8 size )

and tons of precut wool in such a wide array of colors ... sigh it will be sad to send it off but I think it will end up for the better esp when we need $ now I'm always the one to part with something of mine before dh or caden ... its how it goes being the mom huh? lol
