I have loads of this yarn, all colours, that was given to me. I cant stand knitting with it because I always find it stretches and feels wierd.

Buy or make yourself a flower loom and make decorations for you Christmas packages. This site has how-to instructions on using a flower loom and it even has how to make a flower loom out of plastic carton lids (from like a coffee can or oatmeal, etc).

Small Loom Projects at Knitting-and.com

If you have something like the speed-o-weave, Love and Money Lap Loom, the Dritz multi-shape loom or something similar, you could make placemats, coasters, treeskirts, table runners.

If you knit and crochet you could make giftbags, toddler safe tree ornaments, cat toys, outfits for cats or dogs, etc. Here are some other free pattern sites, you might want to take a look at for ideas.

I'd hold 2-3 strands together (depending on thickness, 3 strands worsted wt) and crochet rugs with a N hook.

oh and slippers made from acrylic yarn seem to hold up better than those made from wool in my experience. everyone can use slippers.

Toys, I think acrylic is great for stuffies. Especially great gifts in my family. I'd love to see what you come up with.

Personally, I'd sell it/trade it for some natural fiber and knit/crochet/craft with something you truely love. Or, donate it to a charity that knits squares to make afghans for the poor. If you hate working with it, why put so much time and effort into a project when it's almost torture!? JMO

Thanks for some inspiration !!!!!
I think I might try the slipper idea and I would really love to crochet some placemats with a couple of different coloured yarns.....
I think I will give myself to after xmas and then whatever I dont use,I might just donate.
There is a great crocheting group here that makes the squares and then turns them into blankets for the womens shetler.
Thanks again !!

I got some as a gift and I'm holding 6 strands together and using a size 35 circular that is 40" long and am making a throw rug.
