todays handwork - doll dress and a simple shirt

here is a moon embroidery on a simple old navy shirt

and the totally handsewn doll dress

i used some general instructions from the Illustrated HassleFree Make Your Own Clothes book (LOVE that book by the way - its wonderful!) and freecut the fabric, then sewed it up (by hand ahem)! adding some embroidery for both decoration and as a freystop/check. its needs to be played with to continue the freying but i think it looks cute i might add some more embroidery on the front.
