bouncing bunny Mammoths and holly fairies (random bits of wool and bendies) CNS

I'm in the middle of making a Buche de Noel for our table, but had to snap a quick picture before L and my neice ran off with the holly fairies that are supposed to be a part of it.

Hoping to finish the log today or tomorrow and felt a couple of mushrooms for them to peer out from behind

I was washing some wool last week and (as I have a small obsession with them) I decided the wool was perfect for making a little wooly mammoth. No sorting, combing, or anything. All I did was wash it and felt it. I'm really pleased with the effect.

Here it is next to a mammoth ivory barrette and set of hairsticks I had carved for me. He's about 2" tall. I think he will be living in my pocket as my personal totem.

Snuffie is the coolest

I will PM you, we just got moved in this weekend and got internet last night.

Now I need to start on my copious unpacking and sorting out all the crap we brought with us that we do not need and then onto my Christmas/Yule orders

Life is going to be good. crazy as usual, but good!

Too cool. I adored snuffy when I was little too...and also hated that no one could see him..I always wondered when he became visible..
