OT: abbie-it's-a-boy. Our first...ever.

We've NEVER had one of these before, can you believe it? Omgosh, I so wish we'd tried one sooner.

Gusty named him Abbie-it's-a-boy. The rest of us call him merlin.

No fair! Orange kitties are my FAVORITE! I so wish DH would let me have another kitty.

He is super cute. And you know what kitties love? To bat around wool fruits and veggies all night that they steal from the play kitchen

I love orange kitties too!! Merlin is too cute.
Yes, they love to bat around wool things. Well, my grey tabby did not touch or climb on counters or the table or anything until our new kitten arrived. Now, he is on the counters, the table, the plants and sleeps in the middle of my nature table!!!!!
I loves me some kitties!!

Can you believe he hasn't discovered the wool stash. I'm not holding my breath that will last

We've had him for 2-3 weeks now. He was dumped off at my sister's place. Poor thing was just 3 or 4 months old. And SO sweet. Getting beat up by her dogs because he was afraid to leave the food source he found.

He took to Gusty right away. She just turned 3 years old and this is the ONLY cat that has been nice to her. Seriously, the child has been biten 3 times by cats. Once caused us a quarantine.

Smart cat, get to the mama through the baby. LOL!!!

I sure hope so.

It's been interesting watching him transition out of survival mode and into big warm bed, overflowing food dish mode. lol. He loves the car, the vet, and even us.

Perfect.

Well he sure couldn't have found a more fun house of wool than yours LOL

Whenever we have a new kitty it doesn't take Dh long to complain that he's been replaced in the bed LOL........"well sorry hun, but he's way more cuddlier than you!" LOL

Bedtime is definately interesting. LOL. He's still pretty young, or maybe I just don't realize what cats actually do. But even breathing, the rising and fall of your chest, can send this kitty into full fledged pouncing glee.

It totally cracks us up!!
