Here is a sneak peek since it isn't finished yet. I have to solder in the glass for the door, I added a doorbell and clothesline, I need to get a tiny pulley (if I can find one) for a bucket for the fairies to pull things up with, knit a hammock and of course I need to build some stairs but I want them to be from a branch so that involves more hunting.
The base is a circle of wood covered in felted wool with a needle felted fairy ring on it. I want to add another level at the back because it looks a bit bare on one side I think we will dye some silks this week so the fairies have so pretty foliage. OOH! Stacey needs to come here so I can use her stamps and stamp foliage. I may sell that idea...
I forgot to mention that I unscrewed the stump from the working base and discovered that it was rotted a bit in the center. I was thrilled because obviosuly it needed to be hollowed out and the chainsaw has been calling my name
heather, we can soak autumn leaves in glycerin or dip in beeswax and have real flexible leaves
but of course I will bring my collection of fairy and leaf stamps for you to play with
