Dannielle made me do it!

I had to. I just needed it and it was all I could find so I bought it all I even called the store to double check they had it. Yes, pathetic i know but, now it's mine allllll MINE

Mushrooms on white will soon be curtains for Maya's room complimented by a gnome duvet in pale blue. I mean, when your husband sees fabric and shows a preference for a certain colour what else is a girl to do?

Now, if you have this fabric what would make a good bedskirt or should I do a skirt in a solid? what to do, what to do...

Anytime. I spoke with the woman at the store and she said the new line will be out soon and there is a print with little VW buses on it. I'm saving up now

Well, I think you should hand applique an entire woodland mushroom scene on the skirt.

Just kidding.

Not really. LOL.

I actually plan to applique a gnome in the center of the duvet. The edges will be a border of the gnomes and the corners will be the mushrooms. I think the room will be too "busy" if I did the skirt that way

Can it even get too busy when you're talking about gnomes and mushrooms?

Seriously tho, what you have in mind sounds just delightful. I can't wait to see it.

Katie you are right! I ordered the mushrooms and will get them soon I hope. Then I just have to have time to sew. This whole house buying and redoing thing is timeconsuming and really cuts into the fun crafting.

I will have to take a picture of the tree trunk we cut down this weekend for you. Mu husband thought I was crazy because I was actually telling him where he could cut so that I could get perfect stumps and branches This is going to be a big gnome house I hope!

Well, you could do what my own personal craziness led me to... I felt compelled to take the store-bought dust ruffle I had and blanket stitch the entire bottom edge with red floss.

It's gonna stick in your head
