Hooray! I just got a package from Amazon of books that I picked out for my birthday. I got Feltcraft, Making Flower Children and The Gnome Craft Book. After flipping through them all last night, my head is spinning! So many things I would love to make... but I have to finish up my current projects first!

Right now I'm making a "Pinky Dinky Doo" doll for my DD, working on a set of small "four seasons" bendies, and making a teething knot doll for a baby shower this weekend.

So, what are YOU reading, and what are you working on?

I have been reading Under the Black Flag, a history of pirates, to give me inspiration for a story to go with the pirate bendies I've been making. As the crew of dolls has been growing I've been showing them to people at the school where I work and now I have several requests to make them for other people. I may be busy the rest of the year making tiny pirates. I also have an unusual request. One of the teachers has asked me to do Cro -magnon man and the rest of human evolution, as a series of bendy dolls she can display in her room for world history next year. That should be a real challenge!!! I'm going to put that off for awhile, though, because I'm not sure how I'm going to do it.

Ooooh, I want that book Feltcraft!

Yesterday I began crocheting a poncho for our daughter.

I'm also on the hunt for some 100% cotton bodysuits to tie-dye, and stencil for a few Mamas.
