Cotton or Wool Stuffing?

Hi!

I am in need of a source for wool and/or cotten stuffing. I checked the stickie about sources, but they are for batting or roving. Or am I just confused and it is the same thing? I assume for stuffing the quality needn't be as good, right?

Share, share!

Wool batting is the same as wool stuffing.

Cotton batting wouldn't work as a stuffing tho.

I use wool batting in my little critters. The place that you call instead of ordering from online (the one Anu recommended) is who I used. Very fast delivery, all seemed fine on this end.

Ok..this is weird, but I got mine from Magic Cabin...it's supposed to be waldorf doll stuffing but it works (I uh..was supposed to make dolls with it..and uh..well...I never did..now I use the mohair for the bendies too...)

This is the link for the sticky "materials resources" page. Ordering from the Mill is done over the phone, though. They do not have an internet site for orders. On the plus side, you pay (I believe) $5 vs $10 per lb for wool batting.

For reference, I ordered 3 lbs of batting and it came (big huge roll, stuffed) in a box about 2x1x1 ft. Lots of wool. I may *never* need batting again (she says )

yes, but you, you are a professional with a thriving home business to run. me, I am a mere crafting novice who only joins up for swaps once in a blue moon (snort!).

yeah, OK, I admit I jealously guard that 3lbs and dole it out under the strictist of circumstances. No waste there
