to celebrate my 40th birthday next week I ordered myself some things from Sage Dream Design, including the Tree of Life kit, Mushroom Playscape instructions and some wool assortments. The box came yesterday and everything is wonderful! Her instructions are very clear and detailed with tons of tips, especially for the novice needle felter. And the wool is beautiful--lots of earthy colors.

I'm hoping to do a combination of both playscapes that will serve as a centerpiece for my nature table at school, especially for the spring and fall.
I'll post a pic when I get it finished.

ugh - i am jealous. she lives about an hour or so from me and i have tried TWICE to get a class together and i can never get enough interest!!!!!!!!!!!

i've taken a class from her.............she is wonderful!

whoooo hooo

my box is waiting for me in my PO box in the US

i got the mushroom kit and tree instructions, and some extar wool too.....and the most exciting thing has happened....are you ready?

I found a freind how lives 7 yes 7 houses away from me and she wants to learn to needlefelt too

we got together for tea last night and made GNOMES...how cool is that

so i can really excited to get my box too.

ISn't Patti just AWESOME to deal with!

she is also putting kits of wool together for me for my dino mats as well

I can not wait to see your pics mama!

we are making the mushroom forest for hunters birthday in 2 weeks so hopefully i'll have my own c&s to post soon too

Great way to celebrate your birthday indeed!!

Now I must decide what to order for my 37th bday coming in June!! I love needle-felting. Just wish my children would stop breaking my needles. (They are even well-supervised while breaking them, go figure... my rough adn tumble boys can figure out a way to break anything)
