Lori, take it as a springboard. When I saw that link (I have that particular magazine at home actually too, I buy the Martha Stuart Kids magazines when I see something interesting in there, I learned to wet felt from one of them!) then I thought straight away that hmm, I could make a stick figure like that out of pipe cleaners, wrap it with roving and needle felt it.
I get her mags too and use them like Anu does, as a springboard. I also love Family Fun for the same reason!! Just another great place to gather ideas.
I don't know Martha but I like what she (and her crafters) produces!!!
