We have a variety of IRL craft stores here ... Michaels doesn't carry it, or Rag Shop, or AC Moore. The only place around here is Joann Fabrics. I kno wyou asked for online sources, but Rebecca linked you to that, so if you were goin gto be out of town and shopping I wanted to point you in the right direction

Also, only some of the Joann's store carry the wool felt or wool blend felts, so if it is a drive for you, you should call around the stores in your area to see if one of them carroes the wool blend felts. Only one of three Joann's in my city carry it, and it was one I didn't realize existed!

The Joann's website has a place for you to put in your zip code to find the store nearest you. You can also buy black, red, white or green wool blend felt (35% wool, the rest rayon) through Joann's online (no other colors, unfortunately).

Oh, woohoo, shamelessly plugging for myself http://www.playfulpixie.com . We just got our wool felt listed a few days ago. Very nice, 50 colours! I know none of the big craft stores here carry wool felt.

Hi Daisy,

I know, SO many colours . What did you have in mind? I've been planning on putting together colour assortments once I get everything up (working on wool rovings today), so I'm wide open for suggestions .

I would love groupings by type: pastels, primaries, brights, muteds. Does that make sense? That way I can get the styles I need for the project. Do you have bulk pricing? Like if I wanted to order all 50 colors, would I get a discount (not saying that I am, but I would LOVE to!)...

Wendy,

If you are near a Hancock's Fabric Store, they may have it. I know the one near me has started to carry it, in just a few colors.

The one close to me had only a few yards of different colors and some large packs of FQ's (but with a lot more color choices, just pricey). That was a few months ago and I haven't been in since to see if they have expanded the selection. It was in the quiliting area, on an endcap and I only noticed it cause I was having some fabric cut close by!!

ack, shipping to me is $7.50... is that because you are in Canada?

Hi Selena,

Shipping is so variable and hard to calculate with a cart, if all you are after is felt, we can ship it in a flat envelope for a lot less than $7.50, you could just let me know and I could check into shipping rates for you, a lot of our 'bulkier' items like wood toys etc. do cost more in that range for 2 - 3 of them for shipping. Actually, it's odd but shipping to the US can be a lot less than shipping in Canada, at least on smaller packages, Canada Post is so darned pricey!

Lori, yep, I could definitely do a discount for a full order purchase! I'd say 10% definitely , I'll have to think on the kits and take some more pictures etc. Just working on getting the roving up now!
