So what is UP with these Japanese craft books, anyway? Is there really such a market there for the books? I'm honestly quite clueless about what's hip or not in Tokyo these days.

I know *I* heart the books!

Ooo! I forgot you were in Seattle Anu! LOL! You will have to go and check out the store and see what you can find. I'll definitely send you pp for some books, since they are so much cheaper than buying them on ebay

I got it here:

Seattle Store
525 South Weller St., Seattle, WA 98104
phone: 206-587-2477/ fax: 206-587-0160
Store hours: 10:00am - 9:00pm (Mon-Sat)/ 10:00am - 8:00pm (Sun)

It's in Chinatown, really easy to find. It's on the corner of a HUGE Asian market:

Uwajimaya Inc
(800) 889-1928
(206) 624-6248
600 5th Ave S
Seattle, WA 98104

So really it was on the corner of Weller and 5th.

You can search by ISBN numbers. Here are some pretty complete lists. Try www.amazon.jp or www.yesasia.com (free shipping)..

Look on the right-hand list: http://huangfamily.com/craftingjapanese/

http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee..._japanese.html

http://www.craftlog.org/craftlog/archives/001679.html

Mini-foods (scroll down): http://members.tripod.com/amy_secres...try_id=1161495

Hope that helps!
