Man was it fun! She has roving in all colors, undyed, unwashed/lightly carded, alpaca, buffalo, silk and blends, cotton, etc. etc. Spinning wheels too. I bought a needle felting contraption that holds 6 needles at once. Ouch! My finger hurts LOL.

Saturday they're having a sheep sheering. Oh wait it is raining - they probably won't now.

I wish I could find a good shop like that around here. There must be one, I just haven't found it yet. The few LYS tha ti have gone to are not anything impressive and have a very small selection of wool, and nothing like roving or anything like that.

You are so lucky, our LYS's don't have fiber to fondle, just yarn really...thankfully I have a bunch in storage for me to play with, almost ready for the website. Hoohoo, fiber is so addictive, and that Italian needle felting book sounds intriguing!!
