Wanted to give everyone a heads up and ask about swaps

Okay, so some of you knwo some of you don't
My partner who i have been co-parenting with is leaving, and it now looks liek it may nto be as amicable as i wanted it to be.

Things here have been very stressful, and i am way behind on my swap.

I have some done, some half done and some not even started yet.

I hate to drop out of them becuase the kids will love everything so much, and yet i do not want to hodl everyone up

I can do either of these 2 options

!. just drop out even though so of them are due now
2. Work on gettign caught up and mail to peopel as i mail out other swaps i am hosting

I am okay with either option, i just wanted you all to knwo its just yucky here and i am nto dealing very well.

I'm not trying to whine, just needed you all to know where my head is at. I am good for swaps due in april but all the ones due now and later in march are gonna be a bit hard for me to send ontime

what does everyone think?

I think if you are in over your head, it would be better to back out completely rather than worry about trying to make it up later. If later you have the breathing room, then I'm sure folks would be up for trades. I would hate for you to be pressured to catch up when you have other, important things to concentrate on.

And I know you are in group one with the dragon swap with me and I personally would be a little relived to find out I could make one less dragon - others might not feel that way, but 10 was a lot of dragons to make (Though I would miss your eggs, but maybe in the future we could swap).

sweetie.. take care of yourself and your little ones first.. I'd vote for dropping, because I don't want you to feel overwhelmed down the road.. but really, do what you need to do for yourself.. we all understand... and I hope things look up for you soon. *hugs*

i vote for dropping out too - you don't need the pressure and the guilt you'd put on yourself.

Ditto. You have enough going on that you don't need to be worried about missing swap deadlines and all that. Keep the ones after April 1st and the ones in March that you finished already and drop the others so you can at least get rid of one potential stress ource. And more hugs your way!

Kris, I am just sooo sorry that you are going through this and will say prayers for your strength and something just much better for you and your little ones to come out of this!!

I would just drop out too although I will miss your talent!! Too much stress to even have to think about crafty swaps when your health and well-being are much more important right now!!!

(((BIG HUGS))))

please know that you DO NOT sound as though you are whining!!! YOu need all the positive support you can get right now.

thank you mamas for yoru support. I just took a deep breath and actually looked thru what i haev done and what needs doing. I think i am okay for the late march ones, and i have wizard done completely and dragon so close to being done it woudl be silly to stop now. I did drop fantasy dress up just ebcuase the thought of finishing it all by tomorrow is more than i can bare today.

and i just CAN NOT drop wool food, the kids will be SOOO Excited with everyhting there that i woudl let them down if i dropped it.

So maybe I paniced...

I think i really just needed to look closely at what was finsihed to make the to do list seem more manageable.

thanks mamas, i just you guys, it means alot to know yoru thinking of us thru all this

Sorry I'm seeing this late Kris I say drop out as well. I am sooooo far behind on business swaps I am lucky my head is still on my shouldres. I have been trying to look here only once or twice a week so I can catch up and still things creep up on me and get in the way.
Take a break and think of all the awesome things you can make for your kiddos now instead of slaving and stressing while trying to make things for everyone else. It really does lift a huge weight off of your shoulders!
