I wanna make bendies!

I posted on the other thread but thought maybe I should start a new one. I have no idea how to get started - are there books, websites with how-to's? TIA

Wee Felt Folk is awesome. Check it out at the library! Dannielle also has a craft along somewhere.

Found it! http://www.amitymama.com/vb/showthre...hreadid=123736

Thank you ladies SO much! I have a question - the heads are just wooden beads? And what is the hair made out of? And floss, is that just string, like we used to make friendship bracelets out of?

Yup, floss is DMC (or other brands...but DMC is the most widely available) embroidery floss...like for friendship bracelets.

You can use lots of different things for hair...wool, embroidery floss, pearle cotton, yarn, mohair, fake flower petals, feathers...anything you can think of

And, yes, their head is a wooden bead. I used to like 12mm beads but I've changed my mind and now I like 14mm beads.
