Ellie :)

I love making wool felt animals. I've made 3 of these I did her just for fun but plan to sell a couple on the market board (especially now that I waited too late to delete an esnipe bid on an ebay auction and I'm probably going to be stuck buying it.. will know in about 4 minutes )

she's about 3.5 - 4 inches tall ... the perfect size for Caden's little hand. He just adores her.. been riding her in the back of his toy truck all morning

and can I just add how wonderful it feels to craft for just fun again. I was thinking I would never want to craft again. Then Jack had ball practice the other night and I thought I would just throw some stuff in a bag and play around for the hour and a half I had to wait on him. So I just cut out some animals. Decided to stitch one up during a movie that night. Wasn't really in the mood but thought it might come to me. I saw her coming to life and I started getting that little giddy feeling again.. the one I remember from way back when I actually had time to just craft for me. It's so nice to not feel the pressure of a deadline

How cute. I love her.

Where did you get the pattern? Where to you get your wool from? I am wanting to get some wool to make animals and more bendy clothes.

OOOH! That can be Mrs. Jumbo. So don't forget to make her baby too...y'know, Dumbo, with the big ears.

and don't forget to wire Dumbo's trunk so he can hold the feather. The feather is very important.

Dear Mom and Dad- I may parent differently than you did. This does not mean that I think you did it "wrong." However, it also does not mean I am doing it wrong.
