OOH, I am waiting on the Haeser book myself.

I do agree that Fimo is better (thanks Kris for that word of caution) for small items, it doesn't "save" fingerprints the way sculpey does.

I LOVE it too!!!

oops: edited to say: Selena!!! Great work!!!

Am I the only one who thinks the fumes from baking are downright noxious? I used to do fimo before kids, but I was always sensitive to the smell. I don;t think I'd be comfortable baking it around kids.

I used to use laytex gloves when I worked with it, to keep the fingerprints off.

I remember the fumes being REALLY bad the first time I smelled it a couple years ago but I didnt even notice them this time... so either my nose doesnt work anymore or they have improved it?

I didn't let my kids touch it, and I washed washed washed afterwards. There is no way I could make anything if I was wearing gloves... even latex

thanks for all the compliments! And, whoo hoo, the demo on one of those books shows how to make onions, whooo hooo! Mayne Kris will be able to cross one more thing off my list har har har...

Yeah, this was at least 8 years ago, so it may have changed since then.

They're very cute, by the way!
