How do I sew these wool animals?

I got some wool last night to make some and I was trying to do a Elephant for dd. How do I sew around it? Like the stich? Any sewalongs or websites?

I use a blanket stitch. I think some mamas use a whip stitch.

I don't know if we have an animal-a-long in the faq. I'll go look.

Anu/crazyestonian posted her craft along for an elephant. I did it last year and made a couple very easily from her directions This is the direct link -- http://www.crazyestonian.com/project...ltelephant.pdf

I usually do blanket stitch also but I like the look of the one Anu (crazyestonian) showed with the seams on the inside. You could even get quite a few done quickly on the sewing machine and whip or blanket stitch the feet and whatever else it shows with those hand stitches on.

Please show pictures when you get finished too

I use a whip stitch. I like it best but blanket stitch looks nice too if it's done small enough. I've got camels and elephants cut out and ready to stitch as soon as I can get caught up here.
