Aw man!! I know you are irritated about it but I had to laugh, in a cry/laugh sisterly kind of way. It is nice to see experienced crafters have a bad "craft" day. Good inspiration to know that it is just dandy to make a mistake!!

What was that by the way? It looks like eggplant split open!!

Kris, that's sweet of you to use the term master but I'm far from that. I think a master hits the mark at least most of the time. I'm not even close, I ruin far more than I hit.

I have to admit I laughed too. It's suppose to be a cloud. I'm trying to make a cloud, with little portals for a baby cupid. Round 2 is in the washer now.

I bust out like this one can do a job on the water pump... I'm just hoping it was more felted and less fluff when it came apart. I should know by the end of the week if the repair man needs to pay a visit.

That must be the cousin to my wool explosion last week. I refuse to throw it out thought because I WILL use that wool for something.

Katie made that for McKenna (well, not that one, she made 2). I had asked Mckenna a while back what type of food she was needing for her kitchen so that I could get some ideas on what to make her for Christmas ... her instant reply was that she needed a bowl of pork fried rice, lol. I knew there was no way I could make it but Katie did a fabulous job! I actually just finished picking up all the little rice grains and veggies off the living room floor about 15 minutes ago

Katie -- that looks like what I just took out of my washer too! I am braving the cleaning of a raw wool fleece now, and I had teases a bunch of the fleece and put some in the washer ot clean and som ein the sink to clean. The washer instructions said not to let it agitate, but I had the kids in the tub at the same time and lo and behold, you really don't want that sucker to agitate ... now I have lots of lumps of partially felted together uncarded wool that I don't think I can ever do anything with But on the bright side, the wool from the sink looks great!

And I am with Kris ... you are the master! I love to browse your site to check out all the amazing things you have made!!

Bonnie, I've been toying with taking on a greasy fleece but just haven't committed. I just can't even think about doing one in the winter. *shudder* I wanted to do one last summer, over a fire or even a hot plate in the garage but it was so stinking hot that I didn't get anything done.

Shannon, Cheekybabies took a raw fleece from grease to a step up dye fest with her children in one day. It was so inspiring that, 2 years later, it's still near the top of my wish list. LOL.

At least with wool, it's never a complete loss. It can always be a base for something else.

(laughing with you, not at you) I've soooo btdt! Especially with wool. Reminds me of the time I tried using hair color to dye wool.
