New to this forum :)

Hi there folks - I've been lurking in this forum a little the past couple of weeks, and thought I'd say hi

I'm a long time crafter - I like to spin and knit and do other needlework. I make lotions and stuff too. But recently I've fallen in love with the bendy dolls and minitures associated with them. I've got quite a collection due to some of you ladies here (Hastings, Selena and Danielle!).

Anyway - I treated myself to the Felt Wee folk book and wanted to share some of what I made.

Here are some fairies:

A couple more:

And a family of 'little friends' as Rylee calls them:

I'm working on a king and queen right now to go with some of the things dd got for Christmas (a princess and a knight and dragon set).

I'd love to find some patterns for some animals - anyone have any good pattern books to share?

My sister and SIL let me know that they are expecting some 'little friends' for their daughters in the future! I'm thinking that I'll make some for my neices birthdays - I'm glad I have 6-9 months to do it though

Very cute! I love the little fairies you made. No suggestions for an animal book, just saying hi and have fun!

Welcome . Thanks for sharing, your fairies look great! Sewing Tiny Toys is a great book, lots of small animal patterns that can easily be used with wool felt.

Welcome! Sewing Tiny Toys and Animals From A to Z are 2 good books. There are also some Japanese craft books I have seen on e-Bay. The little bendies become addictive really fast!

Dear Mom and Dad- I may parent differently than you did. This does not mean that I think you did it "wrong." However, it also does not mean I am doing it wrong.
