there are some really great books out there
sewing tiny toys is a good one
gnome craft and felt craft both have several animal patters in them,

making fairytale animals is good for roving animals

i buy 100% from either our local waldorf school if in a pinch, but last year got a ton of if from www.beardancecrafts.com

also Joanne's has some nice wool blend felts, and i just use regular embroidery floss for sewing together
