craftalong: felt butterfly and dragonfly

So, I sat down and made one more butterfly and dragonfly and took tons of pictures. Since amitymama.com was down I put the tutorial on my website:

www.crazyestonian.com

click on craft stuff and then on my original craftalongs. I hope it is not too slow, I have really fast connection myself and could not check how fast it appears on screen with dial-up. To compensate, the instructions are also posted as pdf files.

Enjoy making your own bugs!
And if you make some, post pictures here so I could see if my instructions were good enough

Those are adorable! We're dragonfly obsessed around here, so we'll have to give them a try. Thank you

Oh man! Those pictures are great and as much as I love this board there is no way I would have the patience/time for such a nice craft along. You'd get one picture from me most likely that was either blury or had Maya's face off to the side with her eyeball up close (her favorite pose). Thank you so much because I was having a hard time figuring out your butterfly 2 piece body method.

Actually the main reason for so many pictures is that I couldnīt figure out how to explain stuff with less words. One reason being probably that English is not my mother tongue and even though I have learned it through school I have only lived in English speaking environment for less than 4 years and I donīt have the craft terms down yet to use less words
Iīm glad you liked it

They are so cute Wonderful directions on making them. I have pretty slow dial up but it really wasn't bad in waiting for everything to come up.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU --- Did I mention THANK YOU for sharing this.

I'm so excited. Maybe now I can make myself to do something more than an odd lump w/ the needle felting!!

(Life's been complicated around here -- I've had major health issues, so I need something to help me out of this funk!)

Thanks again,

Becca

Thank you! I will definately be bookmarking your site - wow you have some cool stuff on it, and you are incredibly talented.

I understand about the english thing - my dh has lived in an english speaking country for nearly 9 years and while he can get along just fine speaking it, writing it down still proves to be quite the challenge. Thats fine with me - I can't say I would do any better in the reverse!
