Easter basket stuffers

So, here it is Wednesday, and I have no idea what to put in my children's Easter eggs and baskets.

Please help! I can make some things, go shopping. Maybe if we can get a list of things it will help everyone who is like me and dropping the ball

Maya is getting playsilks, a needle felted ladybug, a few wool balls that I felted, a colouring book of Clifford (her absolute favorite), some glittery craft pom poms that she uses for "mixing", a few bendies, a snail or a few snails(still haven't made them yet) and maybe another felt horse/unicorn. No candy though since I am sure my inlaws will get her something, plus I tell her that candy is either "blech" or dog treats which she thinks is great.

Lots of playsilks (from barb and joy). A bendy princess and a bendy knight with matching horses (from selena) a melissa and doug dress up teddy bear puzzle type thing in boy and girl for both, ginger and sesame candy. I have felted one rabbit, I will need to felt another animal and a few eggs. Hmm, I think I have a few other things stashes away, can't remember, If I see it and it's cheap I get it and hide somewhere. Sometimes I lose it! The wooden puzzles were bought in October for christmas, x-mas eve I searched all over for them and couldn't find them, I think I finally found them in January. LOL!

I'm in the same boat...haven't a clue what's going in baskets. And I can't make things because dd is 9.5, still believes, and would recognize something made by me. I'm planning a little shopping trip tomorrow or Fri night.

Dd is very into workbooks right now, so i got her a new preschool workbook. They are both getting a thing you look in with a funny lens, each is getting a stuffed bunny toy, and a bath puppet. DS is getting a harmonica and a book on signing too. Oh, and felted eggs made by joint effort from DH and I.

Went to Pier one and got 2 dragon fly eye type (one for each basket), a wooden bowling set and wooden dominos. They have all kinds of really cute stuff at Pier One Imports and at Cost Plus World Market if you have either of those stores near you. I moved away from our Cost Plus <sniff, sniff>. From the local toy store, my husband insisted on getting Gavin a ball that lights up when you bounce it and I got Colin a Kaliediscope (horribley mispelled sorry bout that) I made for their baskets, crocheted Chicken egg covers. They whip up pretty easy if you want the pattern. Knitted sheep from the pattern in Toymaking with Kids. And since I couldn't help myself, one small thing of Jelly Bellys each.

So far Egg stuffers include:
polished rocks
Minerals like peacock stones, fools' gold, etc
finger puppet
rubber balls
small snails
We will add:
raisins, dried fruit, nuts, sunflower seeds and possibly carob chips
I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I had grand ambitions of making everything for thier baskets and eggs but well, that didn't happen.

I'd like to get more done but I don't think I will. I want to make some more finger puppets (I only got 2 done). Maybe more snails (I've traded most of mine away). The problem I'm running into, is every time I make something Colin finds it and asks if he can have it. I try to work on stuff for them, when he's asleep because he will ALWAYS ask for what I'm making, so often he hears, sorry honey its for other boys and girls. Poor kid.

We are very low key about the day around here since we don't really celebrate Easter. We do celebrate Ostara, but it is a minor celebration for us.

Anja is getting some small playsilks and some felted eggs with little suprises inside of them and a little needle felted bunny. Maybe I will get her some little chocolate eggs, but not too much.

Well, I bought a playsilk from Dannielle to put in Lauren's Easter basket...but I can't find it (I'm such an unorganized goof). I also have a couple of bendies that will go in eggs along with some candy and a book that I put in her basket every year (the same book that tells the story of Easter based on the colors of items in the basket). Tara is getting 3 minisilks in eggs along with a knotty doll and maybe a few other things, depending on what I get done on the plane!
