Chick felt-n-show *Adding a friend!*

This one is for Meeshi. I will be creating a match to go along with this wee one. It was harder than I thought, I tried to wrap pipe cleaner with roving for legs, but then could not get it to stand up and the legs weren't attaching to the body well, so I put that one aside and started over. This guy took some reshaping to make it look like a chick!

I love it! I haven't tried chicks yet, but made a duck (then ds took it's head off ). I may have to try some chicks tonight.

Did you use natural wool and dthen add color to the top layer, or is it all yellow? The color looks so even!

I don't think the color looks that even up close, but it's pretty good. I used natural for the base then covered with this beautiful soft wool roving I bought last summer at the OREGON FLOCK AND FIBLER FESTIVAL! I feel like such a dork getting so excited for it! Katie is very generous with her wool too, THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH ME KATIE!
