What can i do with these?

I went through a bunch of my moms old things and found some really cool things.
Wood spools(alot)
Lots of plastic and wood buttons.
We made a table with one of the spools for our nature table .

What can i do besides made jewelry with these buttons. Maybe some ideas on what to do with these wood spools also

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,
Sue

Well if you truely have ALOT of them. Then they would make great garland for a Christmas tree. I mean the buttons AND the wooden spools.

If they are the big wooden spools, you can use them as candle holders.

You can also use them on your nature table. Heck just putting the buttons in a clear jar, you can display them. Or you can take an old jar and convert it into a lamp with a lamp kit and fill the jar with the buttons.

The buttons can also be used to embellish clothes, I don't mean the typical, use it as a button way. I mean the buttons can be used as the middle of flowers or the tires on trucks. I've seen lots of button crafts out there, I'm just not thinking of any right now.

You can sell those wooden spools to me. LOL.

Seriously, I don't really know what I'd make with them. I think old wooden spools make cool blocks. I have a bit of a thing for blocks so.....
