lips Faery Box Swap!! (CLOSED!!)

We have AT LEAST 25 kids already! OMG! Wow... awsome turn out... I will do another one for Samhain. Promise!

Selena (MamaSelena) (2)
Hastings (hastings) (1)
Jamie (lillaurensmomma) (1)
Marcey (Lovebugsmom)
Sarah (sarah10998) (2)
Christy (lazylukeslings) (1)
Cory (goddessbubblies) (3)
Sonya (copmom) (2)
(lupineperriwink) (1)
Lauren (mamabear) (2)
Cindy (elfmama) (2)
(randah) (1)
Lorrine (starkl) (1)
Peppermint (peppermint)
(mcmrymoon) (1)
Bonnie (mom2kbeth) (1)
Korwynne (2)
Altbaby
Mamathyme

OK everyone! Here is what is going on...

As soon as the swap closes I will count children.

We will each get *(insert # of children at end of swap here)* tiny nature gifts. They must be as nature and faery based as possible. If faeries bring it they also must be tiny... under 1"x1". Examples include: (the word tiny is a given before each of these items) mushrooms, stickers, tatoos, dried/pressed/fake flowers, crystals, seeds (pretty ones, like black eyed pea seeds, cow beans or scarlet runner beans), beads, pretty rocks, neat marbles, things for a faery house (tiny cakes, tea sets, etc... 1"=1' scale or smaller), shells, tiny beaded rings or small braclets, coins/quarters (ones with plants or trees or babies on them seem the favorites of the faeries in my house ), feathers, and anything tiny that you find/make.

What we each need to do is pick up a box from JoAnns or another craft store (cardboard, around 6" across) for each of YOUR children, and then decorate it with cut outs/stickers/etc of things from faeries (this is open to pure interpretation).

You are welcome to decorate before you send, or send with the cutouts/stickers/etc so I can do it.

Please seal and or decopauge your box before sending it or let me know if that needs to be done (if I a decorating the box, I will do it). It makes it last SO much longer and I know our kids are going to be putting treasures in these boxes for a long time.

BY MAY 25TH (this has to be a pretty firm date) we will need to have the things sent to me.

By JUNE 15th I will send them back out (except for Peppermint who I will try to get out as soon as I can so she can get the boxes back to my kids too).

Then around June 21st (for summer solstice) the kids will get a suprise from their faery. Each will come with a note and a blessing for the new year from their own personal faery.

I am asking $5.50 from those who are not decorating their own boxes, and $3.85 from those who are, for shipping and supplies *FOR EACH CHILD*. Just to make it easy so I don't have to buy envalopes again, I am shipping everything priority.

YES bags are fine... I will need to get boxes for the bags so nothing breaks though... But I think they are the same priority price. So that will work out fine. I just need to know who is doing what so I can get the right supplies. But they sounds super cute!

Love Val

Great. I will need 2 boxes though . I'm on the hunt for boxes right now. I'm actually considering drawstring bags instead because my kids don't usually like the boxes. The fairies usually bring gifts in little glittery drawstring bags when they come here, so I would like to keep up the illusion, lol.

YES! You are making your own child's box or bag or whatever.

Allright... you didn't. Do you just want Linsey in? Or Josh too? They will make it an even 25 (or at least that is the theory... lol... they may make it 28 too)...

I only need one...Tara's a bit too little for little stuff lol

I really want to do the box, but I can always decorate it myself so it's not a big deal if others just want to do the cloth bags.

I'd also prefer a box, and am going to decorate it here myself before sending it out.

That sounds perfect... are you picking some up for your kids too? Anything faery and nature is what I was going to do for my kids. Nothing media please... but flowers, leaves, faery things... stuff like that.

I can't wait to see... how cool that they will be a surprize for me too... thanks Peppermint!
