Can some of you post your easter egg pics?

I mean felted eggs. A super sweet beyond words mama here sent me a package of wool roving,,I feel like I am in heaven and dying to get started!

I read in the FAQ section about making the easter eggs, and I am all ready, but I can't quite figure out how to wide to make the hole to make the trap door to let the form out, and to put goodies in. The kids are each getting a cross necklace for Easter, and I thought it would be so fun to make them each an egg to put their goodies in.

So can you guys post pics so I can wrap my brain around this?

Thanks a buncha...

I don't have any pictures but what I did was wrap the batting/roving around a plastic egg to felt it (I did it in the washer because I am lazy). After the dryer, I cut around the midpoint of the egg enough to get the plastic egg out. From there you can determine if you want it opened up more. Katie made some awesome ones on her wooldfood Yahoo group.

these are treasure boxes I made last year

Various sizes, wet felted, with the designs kinda sort needlefelted a little to stick on then wet felted...

I wet felted them to start out with, beginning by hand, then attached the design with a felting needle, then wet felted a little more, then tossed in pantyhose in the wash and dryer to finish.
