Yarns, has anyone tried?

Hi Folks,

I am wondering if anyone has tried any of the Rainbow Wools Yarn from Australia. I'm thinking of sending away for some, but would like some feedback from anyone with 'hands-on' experience with it!

What do you like for soft wool yarn?

I am pretty sure some of the mamas on the wool soaker yahoo group have used it and said they loved it. But I'm only going by memory, I've never used it myself. Perhaps you could sign in there and ask some of them, or ask some of the mamas in the yarn craft section of amity.

So far the only wool yarns I've tried are Fisherman's (which isn't super soft) and brown sheep, which I haven't made anything big enough with it to determine how it would be if it were used as a garment. But I've only just begun to get into wool yarns, I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. Plus no one around here sells any beside fisherman's wool. So I have to order all mine site unseen. I've heard alot of people love little turtle knits yarn too, but again, I haven't seen it first hand.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
