I made these this weekend...
This was the first one. She doesn't have much shape in her face. I didn't felt her wings much, they are real wispy. I'm trading her for a used drill!

and this. The pidture doesn't show it but she has a real nice nose. I felted her wings a little more. And added arms. It was hard to get them even, but I like the way it turned out. I wanted to felt a snowflake on her, but wasn't brave enough after I was finished, she looked so ggod I didn't want to mess her up. This one is my mom's x-mas gift.

and the north wind / father winter. I modeled him after a drawing in the book A necklace of Raindrops . I love him! His beard and hair are blowing in the wind. His eyes are kind, and a bit worried. His face turned out great. I love it when I can see a face when I start felting and it turns how I pictured it. His cheeks look like they are blowing the wind. I introduced him to the kids today and told him how he blows the wind and makes everything cold. I get to keep him. I will keep him on MY nature table, I feel very protective of him.

They are about 6 inches. Thanks mamas, I had to come over to Katie's to use her dig camera to share! I'm supposed to give both the angels away, but I don't want to !! They make me smile.
