first sns with a side of cns

This is my first attempt at sewing. I cross stitched the front of the pillow and then sewed the pillow. It is FAR from perfect but my mil loved it and it was part of her Christmas. Now if I could just get up the nerve to work on some pants for the boys.

Oh and the pillow isn't as lopsided as it seems, just a funny angle I was holding the camera.

Looks great! I have a really hard time with needlework like that. My hands just kill me. I'm very impressed!

I never finish cross-stitch projects of that size. I am very impressed.

I am blushing, I think I finished the piece about 5 years ago and it has taken me this long to figure out what to do with it. Actually the cross stitch part went really fast, I love the pattern (Shephard's Bush). I don't know why but I do better with cross stitch patterns that are sampler style, I guess because I see some fast gratification rather than a photo style, which I can never finish.
